Kasia & Owen

Our lovely Polish–English couple, Kasia and Owen, wanted a wedding that perfectly reflected their fun, relaxed energy. They chose the beautiful rural hideaway Casa Tara, nestled in the mountains of southern Tenerife, allowing their guests to stay on-site and turn the celebration into an extended holiday together.

With an intimate guest list made up of their nearest and dearest, the couple envisioned a day free from rigid timelines and formal protocol — just two small groups of family and friends coming together, getting to know one another, and letting conversation and laughter flow naturally.

The day began with a sweet garden ceremony, surrounded by nature and gorgeous views. Guests then enjoyed relaxed poolside canapés overlooking local banana plantations and across to La Gomera, accompanied by the romantic sounds of a Spanish flamenco guitarist — the perfect nod to their island setting.

Dinner was served at a beautifully styled imperial table in the garden, creating an intimate, family-style atmosphere. Heartfelt and humorous speeches were delivered in both languages, blending cultures and bringing both families closer together.

And while the guest list may have been small, the party certainly wasn’t. This international crowd knew how to dance. After a quick outfit change, our fabulous bride kicked things off with traditional, high-energy Polish dances, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. What followed was a spirited flamenco dance-off featuring their Spanish guests (and even our team!), before the DJ took over to keep the momentum going.

Cocktails flowed, ice lollies helped guests cool down in the warm Tenerife evening, and the dance floor stayed full well into the night — proving that intimate weddings can still deliver seriously big celebrations.
