Laura & Ronan

Our lovely Laura and Ronan were the ultimate example of trusting your wedding planner. They chose Finca Punta del Lomo purely on our recommendation — without ever visiting beforehand — and we just knew it would be the perfect backdrop for the relaxed, fun, slightly quirky celebration they had in mind.

This gorgeous Irish couple previously lived in East London (my neck of the woods!) and, like me, share a love for all things retro. So when we began talking styling, I couldn’t wait to bring their vision to life: a retro-inspired wedding with a subtle 70s boho twist — laid-back, soulful, and full of personality.

Our beautiful bride is not only incredibly stylish but also a talented designer and seamstress — and she made her own breathtaking wedding dress. A true labour of love, and just one of many deeply personal touches woven throughout their day.

Guests were welcomed into the ceremony space with printed excerpts from Laura’s journal, written the very day she first met Ronan — including the line, “I met a boy called Ronan there and really like him.” From that emotional beginning, their story was threaded through every detail of the celebration, right down to custom tattoo-style illustrations printed onto their wedding menus.

When it came to food and drink, they placed their trust in us once again. With carefully selected catering partners, guests were treated to incredible food and generous pours all day long — relaxed dining, flowing drinks, and a warm, vibrant atmosphere that perfectly matched the couple themselves.

Laura and Ronan’s wedding was creative, heartfelt, and unapologetically them — a beautiful reminder that when you trust the process, magic happens.
